Because we want to help you with your discomfort we are going to share with you our own special technique for reducing discomfort in your feet. Now’s the time for you to take control over your Plantar Fasciitis. Act now; treat yourself to a self-treatment. It’s on us! Don’t delay, grab some lotion and find a comfy place. Before we begin: Get into a comfortable position and cross one leg over the other. Self Treatment
- Make gentle circles with your ankle. Both ways.
- Gently squeeze foot especially your toes!
- Rub your favorite lotion or oil into your foot with long strokes from your heel to your toes.
- Take your fist and make circular motions while kneading the tissue on the bottom of your foot.
- Still using your fist massage from the ball of your foot to the heel using long strokes.
- Use your thumb and make 5 long strokes from your heel to the ball of your foot. Pay attention to your arch.
- Make small circles motions with your thumb from your heel to your toes.
- If you find a sore spot put mild pressure for 15 seconds and then release. Continue with long strokes.
- With your index finger massage in between each toe.
- Gentle pull each toe holding for 5 seconds each.
- With gentle traction make small circles with each toe.
- Grasp your foot with two hands and move hands in opposite directions (like you are trying to separate a double stick Popsicle.)
- Grasp your toes with a full hand and gently stretch your toes up and hold.
- Grasp your toes with a full hand and gently stretch your toes down and hold.
- Make gentle circles with your ankle in both directions.
- Gently squeeze foot especially your toes!
- Repeat on other foot!
