  2. Drink water…seriously this is the best. So many times we forget to drink and we are dehydrated. A large glass of cool water can get rid of symptoms fast and is a great headache cure and is on our list of easy home remedies.
  3. Peppermint oil..we have used for years and is on our favorite list for natural cures for headaches. We dab a small amount on our temples and it really works. Make sure it is pure essential oil and not fragrance oil. You might be pleasantly surprised when your headache is cured.
  4. Use heat…by trying a hot shower or a moist heating pad on your neck and back. Stand in the shower and let hot water hit your neck and back. It increases your circulation and loosens muscles. It is a great relaxation technique.
  5. Ice packs can also be an excellent cure if heat doesn’t work. Use a pack, a frozen towel or a bag of frozen peas. Place the ice pack on the area of pain for 10-20 minutes. It helps to reduce inflammation and numbs the pain.

  7. Self massage…is awesome and an easy headache cure you can do as a home remedy. Find the area of the pain and use the fleshy part of your thumb or index finger and apply pressure for the count of 30. Release and repeat several times until the pain subsides.
  8. Relaxation…is a nice way to take care of yourself. Maybe you are stressed and overworked. Try lying down in a dark and quiet room. Close your eyes and take 10 deep breaths. Repeat until you are feeling relaxed and stress free.
